heads up! the other day i was cutting this man's hair and he warned me not to comb too hard, or apply any sort of pressure on the back of his head as it was healing, he told me. what happened you ask? he walked out of his front door and a very large icicle fell on his head and nearly knocked him out! he told me it bled quite a bit and he was barely able to get inside to tell his wife before he blacked out. he actually never fully blacked out but said that he started to. so... look up outside your doors all, and knock those icicles down before they knock you down!

Scary! My girls are always begging to pull off an icicle so they can eat it. Gross! In Craig, I remember seeing several roof to ground icicles that were 2 stories high. Those were fun to break!
i remember wanting to suck on those things...and now i don't even want to touch them. eew! and that is crazy that poor old man... he didn't even know what hit him.
... well maybe he did.
