little more rhubarb

she got new glasses. she thinks she is funny (i'm sure we all do) because she wears them. she says "they don't help me see at all. I can't see anything, but i'm so used to wearing them i can't make myself stop." she stepped on the old pair and broke them. she asked me if they were out of style. they are horn-rimmed. so i told her no. :) she loves that everything she wears is coming back into style, most everything she owns is over 17 years old. she says her husband bought all of her stuff, she hasn't really purchased anything since, and he died 17 years ago.
