please see: "disclaimer"
today i saw a tow truck towing a tow truck. interesting sight. i thought, "i want to tell someone about that!" then i thought, "i should put it in a blog." i spent the next few miles in my car trying to come up with some crazy insight on that, some analogy that would become a life lesson. couldn't think of a thing. then i got stuck behind a very strange truck, it was going about 15 miles-per-hour, and there were two GIANT "faucets" (if you will) squirting water all over the road. together they were squirting the distance of both lanes, plus sidewalks on both sides, had there been any. it was really wierd. i dont have any fancy insights or life lessons to learn from that one either. i just thought it was wierd. that's all

was it super dusty or something? why was that truck spraying water everywhere? you know like in the derby in delta how they spray the ground so all of the dust kicks up... do you think it was like that?
random, and kind of funny story. those are the best.
I cannot think of any insights about those either. Give me a minute.
Good to see you online, sweet B.

Hi Pixie,
That was a water wagon. Sometimes they are on trucks, sometimes a big piece of heavy equipment like a scraper actually has a water tank on the back. They use them to clean the streets. Sometimes there will be a sweeper truck behind them to sweep up the mud and leaves and sticks. Keeps the dust down.
Sometimes they are used in road construction to get the dirt a little wet, so that they can compact it and make a good road.
