D is for....."down"

i really wish i were talking about a down comforter or something, that would be an ok blog, as it is, my blogs are turning into "this-is-my-latest-bad-news-and-this-is-my-new-way-of-telling-everyone" hopefully that wont be the case ALWAYS....

so...it started off with "down"-loading something off the inter net(and i don't want to hear it from you mac people, i know, i KNOW!). you see, there is this old navy commercial w/a song that i sing ALL the time, and i LOVE! and last night toad and i were watching TV, and a commercial for ask.com came on and made it look SO EASY to find this song that you want to hear, without clicking on ANYTHING it SEEMED. so i thought, i'll try it out. so, from my normal search engine, google, i typed in ask.com, THEN i typed in "old navy commercial song" and hit enter, just like any other search engine, a list of things came up, the little song player the TV showed wasn't on the side bar... so i went back to the list and noticed the 2nd one down, under the blue heading "old navy commercial song" were some key words i was looking for, "sweater", "fall 2007", etc. so i clicked.
suddenly there was these two bars that were reading microseconds on the side and the bars were filling up (like it does if you download) but not like anything i'd ever seen on our computer, and the top of this new pop up box (which we have pop up blocker, so it HAD to have been something i clicked on, and Thetoad clicked on the same one later and it did the same thing, so...) anyway the top read "advanced cleaner, spy shredder" i panicked because i thought it was shredding our anti-spy-ware-program already installed on our computer (xoftspy--its good)so i called t over to see, he bumped me out of the way and i guess started buying into that this was a good anti-spyware program and wanted to download it, we hit ignore the first time, but then i guess he didn't the 2nd? or something, anyway finally i talked him into NOT registering it and just shutting down the computer rebooting, and letting OUR anti-spyware do its thing. so we did, lo and behold like a biskillion "threats" all named "advanced cleaner" were all over our computer. bleh. so we decided to go to walmart to buy something, helpful i guess, we'll have to ask t for the details on that, and my car overheated. (broke "DOWN" this would be the other part of the title i started w/)
we thought that maybe we could just fillerup w some antifreeze and be ok (its been leaking for a while and i've just kept it filled and been ok, so i figured this was about the same...--and a side note, i'm usually REALLY good w/keeping up on my cars, but of course this HAD to be the ONE time, you know?) but nnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! it overheated AGAIN as soon as we started driving, i couldn't make myself get to the exit, i pulled over again and had a tow truck just take it to TUNEX (possibly more on this later, i've just heard about them on the radio, so hopefully they are ok)
so needless to say, i am carless, for who knows how long, and i am really uncomfortable not being able to see my car AT ALL TIMES.

oh well, what do you do?
so now I am "down" and out of luck, and my spirits are again, "down"
